Farewell to the Shuttle Program

Aboveearth_shuttleAboveearth_mir

In addition to 2011 being the 50th anniversary of manned spaceflight — today is the final launch of the US Space Shuttle program which began with the first launch of Columbia in 1981. Above is the Shuttle Program as it is depicted on our “AboveEarth” tshirt which celebrates the long history of Earth/Space exploration. The Shuttle is also seen docked in the icon representing the Soviet/Russian Mir space station (1986).

Get “AboveEarth” in time for the shuttle landing to ring in what we hope is the next phase of manned space exploration.

More Presidential Badassedness is Coming Soon

Nixon_02

Rawhide Reagan will be joined by two more of his brethren in a trio design. Here is a sneak peek at Presidential Agent Searchlight. Part of the new Civilicious line of designs coming to Chop Shop this summer.

Agent Rawhide Reagun

Reagun_main_tealReagun_tee_full

You know Ron Reagan, but you haven’t met Rawhide Reagun. He may be fiscally conservative… but he liberally applies justice! Reagun is first in a series of presidential illustrations inspired by the actual code names given to them by the Secret Service while occupying the White House. “Rawhide” will join agents “Timberwolf” and “Searchlight” in another upcoming design planned for July.

Also new to Chop Shop is Civilicious. A new section where we will feature projects that “provoke civic delight” and will celebrate American history and politics rather than the divisive way it tends to be promoted in today’s media. “Agent Rawhide Reagan” is the first to be added to the collection with our classic “Obama in a Sea of Hope” which has been added retroactively. Look for more to come this summer.

Chop Shop Tees on Sale for $10

Main4grid_10

Three designs only $10 at Chop Shop. Printed on Alstyle and Gildan.

DeskjockeyDesignerdComputerwithback

“Desk Jockey” is actually the design that inspired the idea of making tees filled with stuff. Our hero has mounted his desk and is quickly off to a much better… cubicle.

“Designerd” was designed by Matthew Richmond as part of a presentation he gave in 2007. After he made just one we thought we as well make a few hundred.

“Template IIe” is how a vintage Apple IIe would look as a plastic scale model. Tee does not include glue. Don’t sniff the glue.

weLoaded Numbered for Solving

Weloaded_main_numbered

A blog named yesbutnobutyes.com surprised us once and posted a numbered version of one of our designs and the community had at it with tons of comments. Since then we have been making officially numbered versions of our art so that people can do the same thing in style. Yesbutnobutyes has since passed away, but it still remains on the interwebs and you can find some of the old posts with a simple Google search. Grab this numbered image of our newest design — weLoaded and post it to your blog or facebook. Maybe you will get a whole bunch of people to be totally unproductive today.

79 Ways to Eliminate Your Enemies

Weloaded_main_hires

How do you save the world? Stop the robots? Kill the deadly Beast of Caerbannog? You do it with a Holy Hand Grenade or with a shark with frickin’ laser beams attached to its head. weLoaded features 79 fictional weapons from various pop-culture sources including television, film, video games and comic books

This t-shirt design features more guns than you will find at an NRA rally, but also features an armoury full of grenades, swords and daggers as well. Possibly most entertaining is its selection of unconventional weaponry such as the nuclear bomb named “Jughead”, a giant green cartoon apple, a lethal 8-bit air-pump and many more.
